The TypeDeck add-in

The software runs entirely on your machine. It has no telemetry, no login, no analytics, and makes no network calls. It never “phones home”. Your presets and settings are saved as plain-text files in your own user folder — %APPDATA%\TypeDeck\ on Windows, or inside PowerPoint’s Office group container on macOS (~/Library/Group Containers/UBF8T346G9.Office/User Content/TypeDeck/). We never see them. There is no account to create and nothing to sync.

This website (typedeck.pro)

This marketing site sets no cookies and runs no analytics, no tracking pixels, and no third-party tracking scripts. It’s a static site hosted on Vercel; like any web host, Vercel processes standard server request logs (such as IP address and user-agent) for security and reliability. We don’t build profiles from that and we don’t have an analytics dashboard watching you.

Buying TypeDeck (Gumroad)

Purchases are handled by Gumroad, which is the merchant of record. When you buy TypeDeck, you transact with Gumroad, not with a checkout we operate. To complete a sale Gumroad collects information such as your name, email address, and payment details, and Gumroad runs its own analytics and advertising technologies on its pages (for example Google Analytics and Meta/Facebook and TikTok pixels). That processing is governed by Gumroad’s Privacy Policy, not by us.

From a completed sale, we (as the seller) receive limited order information — typically your email address, the product purchased, and your country — which we use only to deliver the product, provide support, and process refunds.

Emailing us for support

When you email support@typedeck.pro we receive your email address and whatever you put in your message. We use it only to reply and help you. We don’t sell it, rent it, or add you to any marketing list.

What we don’t do

• We don’t sell or rent your personal data to anyone.
• We don’t run advertising or build ad profiles on our own site.
• We don’t run a newsletter, so we won’t email you unless you’ve contacted us first.

Data retention

We keep order records for as long as needed to provide support, honour refunds, and meet tax and accounting obligations. We keep support emails for as long as needed to help you. You can ask us to delete information we hold about you at any time.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the limited information we hold about you — just email support@typedeck.pro. For data collected by Gumroad during checkout, please also see Gumroad’s Privacy Policy for the controls they offer.

Children

TypeDeck is a professional tool and is not directed to children. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change how this works, we’ll update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
